Beginners: $30/month
Advanced: $40/month
Classes meet every Monday at the Ledyard Senior Center, and the monthly fee covers 4 classes. Occasionally, a 5th Monday will be included at no additional cost! Payments are due at the start of each month. In each class, participants will learn the fundamentals of fencing, including footwork, blade control, and strategy. Advanced students will build on these skills with sparring and technique refinement. All necessary equipment will be provided, so there is no need to purchase gear. While a USA fencing membership is preferred for insurance and event access, it is not required to join this class. Join us for a rewarding fencing experience! Questions? Please bring a putter, pitching wedge, 3 wood and 7 iron. Equipment is available to borrow if needed. There is a small fee for a bucket of balls. Student buys a small basket of golf balls for each lesson. Instructor Chris Hedden has many years of teaching/playing experience; is patient and calm, has a solid knowledge of golf principles, relaxing style and established credibility.

Yoga - Yoga with Bronwyn YOGA- WITH BRONYWNEach class is comprised of a unique yoga routine made up of classic yogic poses, asanas, that balance strengthening, stretching, and relaxation. The practice is designed to enhance mental and physical health through attentiveness and ease during activity and rest. No prior experience will be required as a number of options are always offered for each pose. The class is constructed to simultaneously appeal to wide range of experience levels, but with each student receiving tailored attention as needed. A yoga mat and clothing that provides free movement is suggested to enjoy the classes.YOGA AND MEDITATION - WITH LESLIEThis gentle, slow-flow yoga class will ease you into a potpourri of postures that will allow you to stretch, strengthen and relax your entire body, all while practicing various mindful, yoga breathing techniques.
