Cancellation Policy
The Ledyard Parks, Recreation, and Senior Citizens Department follows the school schedule for most of our classes. If there is no school on a specific day, there will be no class or activity for any program which is held in the schools.
In the event of weather cancellations or early dismissal from school, any afternoon or evening classes will also be cancelled.
All cancellations due to inclement weather will be announced on radio stations WSUB, WICH, WVVE and WBMW, Television stations – Channel 8 and Channel 3 and posted on this web site along with our facebook accounts.
In the event of a delay, all transportation will be suspended as well.
